"Buttoned-up by Scotch Tape" arrived in Sarajevo


After Zagreb and Belgrade, educational project "Packaging - product - consumer – environment protection", who's central part is an exhibition of dresses made of packaging materials "Buttoned-up by Scotch Tape", arrived in Sarajevo. Dresses made of packaging materials from eminent brands of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian market, from March 22 were exhibited on the Square "Button me up by Scotch Tape" in BBI Center in Sarajevo (3rd floor).
The opening ceremony of the exhibition, took place on 22 March 2014 inducing great interest of BBI Center visitors, who had only words of praise for exhibited creations. The presence of a large number of journalists showed the attractiveness of the project.
In the short opening program, present guests and visitors were welcomed by Tihana Lesic, Project Coordinator in Tectus Ltd., Selma Colic Kujovic, Marketing assistant at BBI Center and Zoran Rifelj, Assistant director for marketing and sales in Ekopak Ltd.

Dresses that will attract the attention of visitors of BBI Center in the upcoming weeks are made of packaging materials and packaging of store owned brands from the following companies: Dino coffee Ltd Živinice, Ecoton Ltd. Sarajevo, Podravka Ltd, Sarajevo, Spanish market Ltd Sarajevo, also in that group are the dresses from packaging materials of companies members of Ekopak Ltd. Sarajevo - a friend of the project, and dresses with the characteristics of the project partner BBI Center and media partner Antena Sarajevo.

Dresses are result of the artistic vision of Bosnian recognized fashion designers: Belma Arnautovic, Istok Bratic, Adnan Hajrulahovic Haad, Suada Kuloglija, Ivana Lovrekovic - I.LO, Ana Lukenda - MOA baggeek, Lejla Ramic, Nermin Varesanovic and Samina Zajko. For all of them step forward in the area of packaging materials was a major challenge.
The project aims to highlight the importance of packaging as an inseparable part of the product, to promote a product, also to inform and educate consumers about the packaging and its functions, with great emphasis on the proper waste management and environment protection.



During the exhibition, for all BBI Center visitors and listeners of Antena Sarajevo, media partner, an educational radio quizzes will be organized. Listeners / visitors need to find an educational note which is located in the description of every dress, and report to the program to win valuable prizes.

All BBI centre visitors can also vote for the most beautiful dress inserting theirs votes into the voting box in the exhibition space. The exhibition will end on April 14, 2014, on 13 of April shall be declared the most beautiful dress, and rewarded the luckiest voter and the winning dress designer.

The third exhibition "Buttoned-up by Scotch Tape" is organized by Tectus Ltd., Institute of Packaging and Graphic arts Tectus - IatT and "Packaging / REGprint" trade journal.
