Food waste reduction should be a part of day-to-day thinking (Stefan Glimm)

Lightweight, customized packaging can reduce individual footprint of food consumption and food losses. However, general public mostly has trouble understanding the full scope of environmental and economic impact of food waste. That is why a campaign like the Save Food Initiative is so important. However, only quite recently there has been an amazing growth in the awareness and activity regarding food waste issues along the whole food supply chain. Chief Executive Director of Flexible Packaging Europe & European Aluminium Foil Association Stefan Glimm presented to our readers some new ideas and offered very interesting perspective on this issue.
