Printers Need to Be More than “Just” Printers

We talked with Mark Lawn, European Marketing Manager for Canon Professional Print Solutions, at Ipex 2010 who presented us Canon’s philosophy and their view of the role of a modern printer in responding to clients’ demands. Canon believes that the main goal is no longer to sell print, but to approach clients by offering them a broad range of skills, possibilities and experiences which can help them achieve their goals. Canon’s strategy is based on the principles of recognizing challenges their clients face and helping them overcome those challenges.
