Student creative workshop CROPAK 2010 winner

The winner of Student creative workshop 2010 is Tomislav Maričić, a student of Faculty of Graphic Arts, university of Zagreb, who has, under the mentorship of Jesenka Pibernik, created the best graphic design and redesign of packaging of line of products Ralon, a legendary brand owned by Atlantic Grupa d.d. from Zagreb.
Five weeks after the creative task was presented to the students who participated in the Student creative workshop CROPAK 2010, organized by company Tectus d.o.o., Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts and Ambalaža (Packaging) trade journal, mentors selected 26 works which entered final selection. Panel of judges then chose the best six solutions for this year's task - : graphic design and redesign of Ralon line of products packaging. Students Boris Radulović, Tomislav Maričić, Miro Tomić and Igor Toplak from the Faculty of graphic Arts, University of Zagreb and Meri Files and Zvonimir Jergović from the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Rijeka competed for CROPAK 2010 in the category Student works, and the winner was announced on May 7th during FEST.A CROPAK 2010 in Rovinj.

This year's Student creative workshop CROPAK was held under the patronage of three Croatian universities. Ninety-eight students from the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Rijeka, Arts Academy, University of Split, Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Rijeka and an independent group of students from School of Design, Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb worked on the task under the watchful eye of their mentors, supervisor Dean Vranić, chief creative director of Imago reklamna agencija d.o.o. from Zagreb and representatives of Atlantic Grupa d.d. from Zagreb.

Considering the fact that last year's winner of Creative workshop CROPAK 2009, Marino Krstačić Furić, a student from the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Rijeka, won 26th place and a Certificate of Recognition at the WorldStar Student award for the best student packaging design in the world, the expectations from this year's winner are high.
