Awards for the Best Packaging in 2013 Received


As a part of the FEST.A CROPAK 2013 festival of packaging, CROPAK and REGPAK awards for the best packaging in Croatia and in the region have been awarded on 13 June 2013 in the Kralj hotel in Donji Kraljevec. FEST.A CROPAK 2013 was organized by the Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts, company Tectus from Zagreb and Ambalaža/REGprint trade journal.

For this year's competition CROPAK, award for the best packaging in Croatia, 23 products and 29 product series in 9 categories applied (130 products in total), while 25 products applied for the prestigious REGPAK, award for the best packaging in the region. FEST.A CROPAK 2013 gathered more than 100 businessmen from Croatia and the region.

FEST.A CROPAK 2013 was held under the general patronage of World Packaging Organization (WPO) together with other patrons – European Packaging Institutes Consortium, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nature, Ministry of Regional Development and EU funds and Croatian Chamber of Economy.

The aim of the competition is to promote and reward manufacturers, designers and users of packaging as a means of protection, identification and promotion of a product. Another goal is to push the boundaries when it comes to packaging by enhancing the competitiveness in accordance with high standards and professional requirements.

All CROPAK and REGPAK winners automatically qualify to nominate their packaging for WorldStar, award for the best packaging in the world organized by World Packaging Organization (WPO), whose member is the Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts (IaT).
